Sunday Notes No. 4
Designing a Week You Actually Want to Live
Most people plan their weeks around obligation.
Appointments. Deadlines. Things that need to get done.
But a good week should include more than responsibility. It should include intention.
A walk you look forward to.
A lunch that isn’t rushed.
Time to think. Time to be unavailable.
We design homes with care. We should do the same with our weeks. Because if your calendar reflects only what others need from you, eventually your life starts to feel like borrowed time.
A beautiful week doesn’t happen by accident.
It’s designed.
The Sunday Idea
Before you plan your week, ask:
What do I want this week to feel like?
Then build from there.
The Ritual
Add one thing to your calendar this week that is only for you.
Not productive. Just nourishing.
Protect it.
This Week’s Recommendation
A midweek solo coffee somewhere quiet.
You’d be surprised what clarity costs. Usually about six dollars.
The Sunday Practice
Inside The Sunday Practice, we shape your calendar around your actual priorities—not just obligations. Because a well-designed week feels very different than a busy one.
Until next Sunday,
Beau
P.S. A calm week starts on Sunday, not Monday. If this reminded you to choose yourself, forward it to someone else who needs that reminder.
