Sunday Notes No. 1

Why Sundays Change Everything

For most of my life, Sunday was simply the day before Monday.

A quiet buffer between the freedom of the weekend and the responsibilities waiting on the other side. I treated it casually — errands, a late brunch, maybe a vague attempt to “get organized” before the week began. But eventually I noticed something interesting.

The women whose lives seemed calm and intentional didn’t stumble into their weeks. They prepared for them. Not dramatically. Not with complicated planning systems or rigid schedules. Just small, thoughtful rituals that allowed them to begin Monday with clarity instead of chaos.

A few minutes to reflect.
A few decisions made in advance.
A few small resets.

The difference between reacting to your week and designing it often comes down to a quiet Sunday moment. It’s not about doing more. It’s about beginning with intention.

The Sunday Idea

Before planning your week, decide how you want it to feel.

Write down three words. Maybe:

Calm.
Focused.
Creative.

Let those words guide what you say yes to.

The Ritual

Take ten quiet minutes tonight. Write down the three most important things you want to accomplish this week. Then look at your calendar and make sure those things actually have space. If they don’t, adjust accordingly.

Your calendar should reflect your priorities — not the other way around.

This Week’s Recommendation

A small Sunday ritual:
Open a window while you reset your space. Fresh air has a quiet way of shifting the mood of a room.

Until next Sunday,
Beau

P.S. If this note made you pause today, forward it to someone who might enjoy a slower Sunday.
